What this site is
This site provides educational information and an online application tool for California homeowners insurance. It does not provide legal, financial, or personalized insurance advice. Nothing here constitutes an offer of insurance.
Indications are not quotes
Any preliminary indication shown as you complete the application is a modeled estimate only. It is not a quote, binder, or guarantee of coverage, price, or eligibility. A carrier price exists only when returned by an authorized rating workflow, and coverage is bound only when a carrier issues it. Carrier eligibility, pricing, availability, and placement are determined case by case and are never guaranteed.
Broker relationship
We act as an independent insurance broker. On standard placements the carrier pays our commission and there is no separate broker fee; any fee that would apply is disclosed to you in writing before you commit, as California law requires.
Electronic transactions
Where you choose to sign your application electronically, you consent to transact electronically under the federal ESIGN Act and California's Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. Before signing, you are asked to confirm your intent to be bound, your right to a paper copy, and your right to withdraw consent. You may instead ask us to prepare your application from your answers without an electronic signature.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete information. Insurance applications rely on the truthfulness of your answers; material misstatements can affect eligibility or a future claim.
Intellectual property
The content, design, and code of this site are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
