When you use our application, we collect the categories of personal information below for the business purpose of preparing an insurance application and obtaining coverage on your behalf. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted by the CPRA.

Information we collect

• Contact details — name, email, phone.
• Property & risk details — address, year built, construction, roof, systems, protective devices, and wildfire exposure.
• Coverage & underwriting answers — desired limits, deductible, loss history, and the eligibility questions on the ACORD 80 application.
• Electronic signature record — your typed/drawn signature, consent acknowledgements, and a timestamped audit record when you sign electronically.
• Technical data — IP address and basic request metadata, used for rate-limiting and fraud prevention.

How we use it

We use your information solely to generate a preliminary indication, prepare and submit your application to licensed insurance carriers, the California FAIR Plan, and surplus-lines markets as appropriate, and to communicate with you about your submission. A preliminary indication is never a quote, binder, or guarantee of coverage, price, or eligibility.

How we share it

We share your application only with the insurance carriers, wholesalers, and market partners needed to seek coverage for you, and with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract — including our email delivery provider used to transmit your application to the broker. We disclose information when required by law. We do not sell your information.

Device-local draft

To let you resume, we may store limited property details in your browser on your own device for up to 7 days. This local draft deliberately excludes your identity, contact details, consent, signature, loss history, and underwriting answers. Clearing it removes it from your device.

Retention & security

We retain application information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations, then dispose of it securely. We use administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you provide; no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Your California privacy rights

Subject to the CCPA/CPRA, you may request to know, access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may designate an authorized agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information, no opt-out is required.
